Site work for a water / sewer project in Roxbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of October 27, 2023 this project was awarded to True Blue Environmental Services with an awarded amount of $199,019.25 The Town of Roxbury has issued a Request for Proposal for the removal of (2) underground storage tanks and the installation of (1) aboveground concrete storage tank and the required site restoration. The tanks are located at the Town of Roxbury, Public Works, 31 North Street, Roxbury, CT 06783. The selected Contractor will need to submit and cover fees for any required permits to complete the work. The selected Contractor will work with the Selectmans Office, Public Works Employees, CTDEEP and the Fire Marshalls of the Town of Roxbury, Connecticut Building Departments. Contractor shall be responsible to comply with all applicable laws and regulations and coordination with all officials. The Town also reserves the right to negotiate further with one or more of the firms as to any features of their Proposals and to accept modifications and clarifications of the Proposal when such action will be in the best interests of the Town. Please refer to the Contract for important terms and conditions that are applicable to the Project such as markup limitations for changes in the scope of the Work, liquidated damages, indemnification obligations and other important rights and obligations. The Substantial Completion Date for the Project must be coordinated with the First Selectman with consideration given to the winter heating season.
