Renovation of a mixed-use development in Stamford, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of December 7, 2023, the project was awarded to Greenwood Industries Inc for $1,944,200 for roofing and Tri Valley Plumbing & Heating for $75,600 on the plumbing. A timeline for construction has not been established. The project includes Roofing and Plumbing Construction Contracts to perform the work associated with the Phase 1 Capital Project at the Main Building for the Stamford Central School District The Board of Education, above named, reserves the right to waive any irregularity and reject any or all Bids. Each Bidder must deposit, with his Bid, security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and attached wage rates schedule to be paid under this Contract. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The Board of Education further reserves its right to disqualify Bidders for any material failure to comply with the "Instructions to Bidders." The District adheres to a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, disability, gender or national origin in employment, programs and services.
