A. The project shall include as described on the accompanying project plans and specifications Install approximately 54 LF of 48-inch SSPRC Class IV sewer. Install approximately 120 LF of ductile-iron water main. The City of Kingsford is seeking bids for the construction of the Hamilton Avenue Sanitary Sewer and Water Main Replacement Project that includes the following major items of work: o Install approximately 54 LF of 48-inch SSPRC Class IV sewer. o Install approximately 120 LF of ductile-iron water main. The City of Kingsford reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids at its discretion. No bid shall be accepted unless accompanied by a bid security payable to The City of Kingsford in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. Prevailing wage rates will not be required for this project. The Work will be substantially completed on or before December 22, 2023, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before May 15, 2024.
