The City of Florence is seeking bids from qualified and licensed contractors to complete renovations to the house located at 1101 E. Pine Street. This project must be completed within 45 consecutive calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. A penalty of $100.00 per day may be withheld for non-completion within the time specified. The respondent shall perform or provide any and all professional services related to the project and obtain all required permits. Respondent represents that all tasks will be performed in accordance with generally acceptable professional standards and further represents that the advice and consultation provided shall be within its authority and capacity as a professional. Respondent will comply with the regulations, laws, ordinances and requirements of all governmental impact applicable to assigned project. The City of Florence reserves the right to engage in discussions with any or all responsible bidders who submit bids which appear to be eligible for award, for the purpose of clarification to assure full understanding of and responsiveness to the Invitation to bid requirements herein. Goals for Minority Participation For each trade 16% Goals for female Participation in each trade 6.9% Notwithstanding the above the successful firm shall not be relieved of liability to the City for damages sustained by the City by virtue of any breach of the contract by the firm and the City may withhold any payments to the firm for the purposes of setoff until such time as the exact amount of damages due to the City from the firm is determined.
