Questions and requests for clarification or information must be received, via pgw.procureware.com, by 5 p.m. .............June 28, 2023 Pgw Seeks to Retain a Corrosion Control Consultant(S) to Provide Labor, Tools and Electronic Instruments to Conduct Corrosion Control Surveys on Pgw's Natural Gas Piping Systems, and Gas Processing Plant Facilities, Including Ultrasonic Testing of Specific Piping and Non- Destructive Testing. All Services Must Satisfy the Requirements of Parts 192 and 193, Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations, the National Electric Code and Applicable Pgw Standards. Services to be Provided; Scope of Work PGW is seeking proposals for a corrosion control consultant(s) in order to provide PGW with the following services: 2.2.1 Corrosion Control Periodic Surveys Periodic surveying of existing corrosion control systems to determine that an effective level of corrosion control is being achieved. This may include an instant off (polarized potential) and possibly a depolarized potential (typically 24 hours after the polarized potential is recorded). Emphasis is placed on stray current corrosion and mitigation associated with Septa's DC Powered Rail Transit System. PGW has the option to add or remove surveys. The Proposer will be notified with a minimum of 1 week of any changes to schedule corrosion systems. Entry authorization will be required when performing work in the Plants. Proper advance notification will be required to gain access to these facilities. Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times within the Plants.
