Renovation of an educational facility in New Westminster, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work of this Contract comprises the required scope at the Douglas College, NW Carnarvon Parkade for the following elevator: .1 One (1) Hydraulic Passenger Elevator .2 The work includes for all labour, material, equipment and supervision to complete .2 The work included in the specification and related drawings. This includes, but is not limited to: .1 Owner General Requirements .2 Elevator Work as specified in 14 20 06 – Elevator Modernization .1 Modernization of the existing hydraulic elevator. .3 Electrical Work as specified on Division 26 05 00 .1 Miscellaneous electrical work as noted in the specification. .4 Repair and restoration of all areas damaged or altered due to construction activity. This includes all cutting, patching, and firestopping. .5 Final cleaning of structure, disposal of all waste products in all areas affected by the work. .6 All dimensions on drawings, specifications, manuals, equipment labels, etc. shall be in metric (SI) units and imperial units. .3 No extras will be allowed for inconveniences after award of the General Contractor.
