Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bloomfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of site grading, paving, drainage, paver flatwork, sidewalks, paths, trails site plantings, prefab steel bridge and gazebo and ancillary and incidental work. Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Bid Instructions and Information. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Materials Payment bonds, each in amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the contract price. Any questions regarding the proposed work should be addressed, in writing, to Nancy Haynes, at nhaynes@bloomfieldct.org. Questions will not be entertained past 4:00 p.m., July 10, 2023, and responses will be posted via addendum. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to accept any Bid, should the Town deem it to be in the best interest of the Town.
