Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Clinton, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Provide all labor, material, and equipment required to provide sub base and concrete for a rubber surface. This work will surround the new and existing playground equipment that will be installed beforehand. The rubber surface will be installed by others. The project includes site work, PCC concrete over a compacted base with a perimeter barrier curb. All to follow the provided engineered drawings. 1. Joint distance: only referenced Iowa DOT standards. Just to clarify, we want the joint spacing to be 10'x10' max. 2. Place #4 steel rebar 36" in both directions. Equivalent fiberglass reinforcement is acceptable. This will be in addition to the curb rebar detailed in the plans. 3. Contractor is responsible for maintaining a perimeter safety barrier around the work zone and any equipment or materials. Snow fence is acceptable but must be maintained at all times. Contractors and Suppliers will be provided an Iowa sales tax exemption certificate for this Project. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities or irregularities allowed by law and to enter into such Contract or Contracts as may be deemed in the best interests of the Clinton Community School District.
