Site work for a civil project in Newark, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 17, 2023, project was awarded to Driven Excavating and Pittsburg Tank & Tower Company, Inc., awarded amount in contract A $1,3638,95 and contract B $946,170.85. The Prescott Estates Waterline Replacement & New Tank project includes installation of approximately 6,200 feet of 6" PVC C900 (DR 18) and 3,300 ft of 8" PVC C900 (DR 18) water main to replace existing water lines throughout the neighborhood, replacement of all water service lines and meters, and installation of 20 fire hydrants (Contract A). The project also includes the installation of a 75,000 gallon multi-leg steel water storage tank and associated site improvements and appurtenances. Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price or certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract, if awarded the project. The Engineer's estimate is as follows: Contract A (Waterline Replacement): $1,744,000.00 ; Contract B (Water Tank): $901,500.00 The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the lowest and best bid.
