Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a military facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a military facility; for the demolition of a military facility; for the renovation of a 700-square-foot military facility; and for site work for a military facility.
Bid is cancelled This project converts building 4 Room M930 inot a 700 SF secure server room. The new secure space will be desgined and constructed in accordance with the DoDM 5200.01 Volume 3, and applicable UFCs and other government adapted standards. This project involves the demolition of existing rooms. New construction includes walls, doors, hard ceilings, new electric, new HVAC, and modification of fire protection features. The construction of the secure space includes RF shielding materials to eliminate the chance of electronic eavesdropping. The doors to the spaces will be secured with electronic monitoring, as well as specialty locking mechanisms. The following is a list of secure space components with brand names and part number: Access Control System (ACS)/Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Panel, LENEL, LNL-X2220; ACS/IDS Power Supply and Battery Charger Enclosure, LENEL, LNL-AL600ULX-4CB6; Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Input Control Module, LENEL, LNL-1100 (SERIES 3); IDS Keypad, LENEL LNL-CK; High Security Switch, MAGNASPHERE, HSS-L2S-000; Balance Magnetic Switch, MAGNASPHERE, MSS Series; Card Reader w/ Keypad, IDFACTORS, 74-01-2003; Electric Strike, HES, 1006; PIR/Microwave Motion Sensor, BOSCH, DS9360; Request to Exit, BOSCH, DS160; X-10 Door Lock, LOCKMASTERS, LKM10KHX10S1; Power Distribution Module, ALTRONIX, PD9UL; RF Shielding, COVERTECH, rFOIL ULTRA NT RADIANT BARRIER. These components are integral, critical and necessary for ensuring that the newly constructed secure spaces meet or exceed the requirements OPNAVINST 5530.14E, Navy Security & Law Enforcement, NAVSEA M-5510.2D NAVSEA Access Control and Movement Control Manual, NTTP 3-07.2.3 Law Enforcement and Physical Security, SECNAV M-5510.36B Department of Navy Information Security Program. these standards is imperative to having a complete and usable facility at the end of construction. These particular components have been approved by local security forces as the aforementioned requirements. These components are used in all other secure spaces at PNYA and the electronic components are to be connected to the existing site wide security system. In particular; the existing electronic monitoring system for building and secure space entry for PNYA is a LENEL system. All components connected to that system must be LENEL specific. The X-10 door locks are required as part of the DOD 5200.01 Vol 3, as well as the Federal Specification FF-L-2740B and the DOD lock program. The Covertech Ultra NT foil is the only RF shielding material that has been found to meet the requirements of the TEMPEST program. The remaining components have been selected to form an integrated solution to the Physical security and information security for these secure spaces. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
