As of August 29, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The excavation and removal of existing sidewalk and installation of curb, curb ramps, pavement restoration, flashing beacon and school zone signals, pavement markings, topsoiling, seeding, and mulching. Each Bidder shall deposit with its Proposal a certified check, bank money order or Bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent of the Total Bid as defined in the Instructions to Bidders. The minimum wages paid for all labor employed on this project shall be as established by the Secretary of Labor, Department of Labor and Industry, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and as tabulated in the Project Manual. Clarification Deadline: 7/6/2023 4:00 PM Bidder shall submit all questions or comments about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents only via the "Clarifications tab" feature in PennBid no later than seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids. No calls may be made with questions. Responses will be publicly posted on the PennBid's Clarification Tab. Bidding requirements are more particularly described in the Instructions to Bidders contained in the Project Manual. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
