Putnam County Board of County Commissioners is requesting responses from qualified firms to perform Engineering Design and Plans Preparation for the East Palatka Septic to Sewer Phase IV Project. The project will provide an estimated 15,000 linear feet of low pressure sewer main and sewer for an estimated 215 existing homes.
This improvement will provide the infrastructure for a total of 305 parcels to tie into the system in the future. The services will include the design of a proposed sewer infrastructure, the septic to sewer conversions, and all necessary permits for construction of the project. The general objective is for the CONSULTANT to prepare a set
of contract documents including plans, specifications, supporting engineering analysis, calculations and other technical documents in accordance with the 2017 FDOT UAM, 2018 FDOT Temporary Traffic Control (MOT) or newest applicable edition, Putnam County Public Works Department, Putnam County Land Development Code, FDEP Guidelines (or newest applicable editions), and adhere to applicable FAC regulations. A bond may be required to guarantee the payment of any losses by theft, burglary, pilfering or vandalism as a result of carelessness, negligence or willful acts of the Contractor, its agents, employees or assigns.
The County Administrator or Designee shall have the right to unilaterally cancel, terminate, or suspend the contract, in whole or part, by providing the firm thirty (30) calendar day's written notice by certified email. Answers to questions received will be posted online with the RFQ documents. Questions must be received at least 10 days prior to bid opening.
