As of June 2024, this project is in the preliminary design phase. Work on construction documents is expected to begin in the spring of 2025. It is anticipated construction could begin in 2028. This includes FTA CIG grant planning in preliminary design as well as incorporation of design standards into final design, such as branding, station design and user experience to be consistent with that of the overall Wake BRT system.
