Project Contractor pre-qualifications are specific to this project. No bid will be opened unless the following completed forms are filed in the office of the City Clerk not later than July 5, 2023: "Bidders Proof of Responsibility" for 2023, and the "Statement of Qualifications for Parking Ramp Repair Contractors". Forms and specific requirements are included in specifications, and are also available at the office of the City Clerk. Reference is made to Section 66.0901 Wisconsin Statutes. No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a bid bond (uploaded electronically during bid process) equal to five percent of the bid, payable to the City as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 10 days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. If the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.
