Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Easton, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
In general, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the installation of a 78-inch diameter re-enforced concrete pipe with 370 feet in length of pavement with a varying width up to 45-feet wide along Goldsborough Neck Road as shown in the MDE permit and in the accompanying drawing(s), as described in these specifications; and as directed by the Talbot County Department of Public Works or its assignee. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Bid Specifications. Qualified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) are encouraged to participate. For any subcontracts, the prime contractor shall take affirmative steps to assure that small, minority and women's businesses are used where possible. The County Council of Talbot County, Maryland reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid, alternate, or any portions thereof, when in their judgment, the public will be better served.
