The Soquel Creek Water District (District) is seeking statements of qualifications (SOQs) from firms for general civil and environmental engineering and for the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates; calculations, studies, basis of design reports and other surveying, civil engineering related work on an "on-call" basis for miscellaneous undetermined projects. The predominance of the work will be directly related to water production, storage, pumping, treatment, distribution, controls, and related administration facilities. There may also be the need for evaluating treatment optimization, life cycle O&M costs, value engineering & water quality analysis for new drinking water treatment projects. Additionally, there may be a need for structural expertise for evaluating seismic & safety retrofits to existing District facilities. The District wishes to retain one or more firms to provide such services for a three-year period with an option to renew for an additional two years. The scope, schedule, and fee arrangements for each project will be negotiated on a project by-project basis for issuance as a "task order." In addition, consultant shall submit a pdf file of the SOQ without fee schedule to tajd@soquelcreekwater.org Interested firms desiring additional information are asked to call the District at (831) 475-8500. The District reserves the right to cancel projects in design at any point and pay the consultant only for costs incurred to that point and for work completed which is usable by the District as determined by the District.
