Site work and paving for a civil project in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a 80,000-square-foot, two-story above grade water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Lawrence ("the city") is soliciting proposals from Contractors to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for Phase 1 of the City's new Municipal Services & Operations (MSO) Campus, which includes: o Municipal Services & Operations (MSO) building: The MSO Building will be an approximately 80,000 SF 2-story facility which will house City workgroups of Streets, Traffic, Stormwater, Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, Administration, Construction Management, and Engineering & Development. o Fuel Island: The fuel island will serve the City's vehicle fleet and will include gasoline and diesel fuel. Alternative fuels will be explored for co-location at the fuel island or at the vehicle parking lots. o Associated Site Work: Site work will include mass grading and berms, temporary and permanent roads, underground utilities, demolition and removal of debris. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
