Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of a residential development in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

As of June 3, 2024, per owner, no projects were selected. The Board rejected all proposals. The County of Franklin is seeking proposals for the development of an approximately 84-acre property in Ferrum, VA in accordance with the adopted master plan documents. Franklin County seeks submissions from potential Development Partner(s) with successful experience creating mixed-finance, mixed-income, and/or mixed-use housing developments serving a wide range of household incomes, including workforce/affordable housing. The selected firm(s) may be chosen to enter into a Development Agreement with Franklin County. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals, waive any informality, and award the RFP as deemed most advantageous to the County.
