Renovation of a municipal facility in Modesto, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Stanislaus Regional Housing Authority (Authority) is seeking bids from General Building Contractors (Contractor) or C-39 Contractor to provide roofing removal and replacement, dry rot repairs, and gutter/downspout replacements, repairs at its property located at 608 Brighton Ave., Modesto, CA located within Stanislaus County. The Contractor will remove the existing roofing material exposing the solid sheathing; remove and replace any dry-rot material; remove and replace all fascia trim pieces; install 30 lbs. roofing felt underlayment; and then roof with three tab composition shingles (color to be selected by the Authority). The Contractor shall obtain all required approvals and permitting through the local governing agency, fees shall be paid by the Authority. All local, state and federal codes and regulations shall be followed by the Contractor. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supplies necessary to remove and replace roof; repair damages to eves and sheathing; and additional work identified within the Scope of Work. Contractor is responsible for verifying quantities for installation. The Authority is not responsible for actual dimension and quantities required to complete the installation. Materials and products used in the repairs are to match existing Authority properties in quality and function. 1.1 ROOFING PROJECT: 1.1.1 Demolition of Existing Roof Material: Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and services, and complete all associated work and pay fees to perform the removal and lawful disposal of existing roofing materials in order to expose existing solid plywood sheathing. Contractor shall review the existing site conditions and include within cost accessibility constraints due to utility lines, trees and other potential obstructions and constraints. Contractor shall than remove water damaged plywood sheathing and properly dispose of material exposing existing manufactured trusses. Removal costs associated with these operations will be included as a cost per square foot line item identified within the Bid Form. Additional demolition costs and/or disconnect and reconnecting of existing utilities and/or equipment is the responsibility of the Contractor and will be included in the total cost of the project. The removal and replacement of all existing trim will be included within the Contractors costs. Demolition of miscellaneous material which includes, but is not limit to sheet metal, flashing, roof safes, vents, etc. will be included in the Contractors costs. These pieces shall also be painted per local codes and common roofing contracting practices.
