Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Miami Beach, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project is for critical infrastructure improvements to Lummus Park. Due to the volume of visitors at Lummus Park, landscaping improvements at the park are in need. The irrigation systems are also in need of replacement for more potent systems to allow watering of more zones simultaneously, thereby reducing running times. The electrical infrastructure is also in need of replacement. Landscaping enhancements would include additions to the urban forest. Existing walkways at the parks are heavily used by visitors, public safety and service vehicles alike. Maintenance of the path is difficult, as it requires frequent pressure washing. New pathways would improve the appearance of the parks while also reducing the frequency of maintenance. The addition of way-finding signage at the park would be a benefit for visitors. Due to volume of visitors, park restrooms and electrical infrastructure require renovations in order to meet demand. As of December 5, 2024, this project is included in the City of Miami Beach FY 2025 - 2029 Capital Budget and 5-Year CIP and funding is allotted for construction in FY 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
