Site work for a water / sewer project in Marietta, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
An aging system, increased water quality standards, and potential growth in demand outside of the City requires evaluation, design, and construction of existing /future water transmission and/or storage and existing facilities require improvements. Services may include, but are not limited to: the analysis and/or design of: storage tanks, pump stations, water main and service lateral replacements, system modeling, and construction services. Pump station analysis may include determination of immediate and long-term needs for each station and connected system, and evaluating each station against the expected flow increase from growth in the service area(s). The findings shall be summarized in a needs assessment report. Design of the installation of the selected project elements for each station, which may include, but not be limited to: design of buildings, electrical upgrades, electrical equipment replacement, mechanical equipment replacement, controls, and connected systems. The selected firm(s) will prepare plans and specifications for selected improvements, and assist the City, as requested, during bidding and construction/installation of the new equipment
