Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Marietta, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Marietta, may choose to not award the bidäand bidders shall hold bids open until sixty days after the bid opening. The work for which bids are invited consists of: Improvements to the corner of 7th & Putnam Street include removal of the existing building foundations, concrete slab and Proposed: sidewalks, curb ramps and stabilization of the stream bank. The opinion of construction cost for the Project is Base Bid: $150,000.00; Base Bid Plus Alternate 1: $217,000.00. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide the surety. The City of Marietta reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process, and to enter into a contract with the bidder who, in the Citys opinion, offers the lowest and best bid.
