The proposed sewer inspection project for the Town of Smithville includes a Base Bid for 8,910 Linear Feet of Sewer Line Television Inspection, 8,910 Linear Feet of Sewer Line Cleaning, 8,910 Linear Feet of Smoke Testing, and 32 Manhole Inspections (per each). Additional Items included in the base bid are Mobilization (per LS), 1 Project Sign (per each), 900 Linear Feet of Root Cutting, and 100 Protruding Tap Removals (per each). Deductive Alternate No.1 includes 8,910 Linear Feet of Smoke Testing. Deductive Alternate No. 2 includes 2,225 Linear Feet of Sewer Line Television Inspection, 2,225 Linear Feet of Sewer Line Cleaning, and 8 Manhole Inspections (per each). Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the TOWN OF SMITHVILLE, marked on the outside as "BID FOR WASTEWATER COLLECTION IMPROVEMENTS, CDBG NO.1139-22-345-PF-01." Any bid for a sum in excess of $50,000.00 shall contain on the outside or exterior of the envelope of such bid the contractor's current certificate of responsibility number, and no bid shall be opened or considered unless such contractor's current certificate number appears on the outside or exterior of the envelope or unless there appears a statement on the outside or exterior of such envelope to the effect that the bid enclosed does not exceed $50,000.000. Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom contract documents have been issued by the Engineer.
