Site work for a water / sewer project in Mize, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work shall consist of the rehabilitation and replacement of sanitary sewers, including the construction of approximately 1,600 linear feet of gravity sewer. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be furnished by each Bidder as required by the Contract Documents. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs. The Town of Mize is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and herby notifies all bidders will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual preference, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status in consideration for an award The Town of Mize reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any and all informalities and reserves the right to hold all Bids for examination for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days and to award the Contract to the lowest and best Bid complying with the Plans and Specifications within said time.
