Site work and addition to a civil project in Torrance, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project consists of a desalination expansion project designed to treat salt water in the West Coast Groundwater Basin with the goal to create a more resilient local drinking water supply and eliminating the need for imported water. The expanded facility will use reverse osmosis membrane technology to remove salts from the extracted groundwater. Work also includes new groundwater extraction wells and raw water pipelines. As of December 2, 2025, the Design Build / Joint Venture team has just been announced by the Owner. A timeline for construction is not yet known.
