Vander Lans AWTF SCADA Upgrade Project - Electrical Contractor The Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supplies and incidentals required to upgrade the plant SCADA system to modernize and standardize the hardware and software. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, upgrades of the existing PLC hardware from Schneider Electric Modicon Quantum PLCs to M580 PLCs, modernization of the PLC software, upgrades of the backup power for the control system hardware, upgrades of the thermal management for all control panels, upgrades of the SCADA network architecture including the plant fiber optic network and upgrades to the SCADA application. All these upgrades will provide improved reliability and thereby improved plant operation.
