Site work and paving for a civil project in Lake City, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of September 18,2023, project was awarded to Curt's Construction, awarded amount is $370,847.19. This project consists of the repair of SE Academic Ave. Major items of work will include maintenance of traffic, erosion repair and control, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, drainage, asphalt paving, grassing, signs and new pavement markings. The Contractor agrees to furnish and pay for all management, supervision, financing, labor, materials, tools, fuel, supplies, utilities, equipment and services of every kind and type necessary to diligently, timely, and fully perform and complete in a good and workmanlike manner the Work required by this Agreement The Columbia County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to add to the contract or delete from the contract to stay within their funding capabilities. Deadline for questions regarding specifications and/or bid documents must be received before 5:00 P.M. on August 4, 2023. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 5% bid bond with bid submittal, and if selected, furnish the County Manager with a performance bond and proof of liability insurance prior to commencing work.
