County of Kern (hereinafter "Owner") Owner will receive sealed Bids at the County of Kern, for the following public work: SEC HVAC Replacement - 1600 E. Belle Terrace, Bakersfield, CA 93307 - (1650.7061.22) Project Description: The project, in general, consists of providing a complete, turn-key system. Items listed are not all-inclusive. Include all items as required for a complete, fully functioning, and commissioned system. General Scope per the following. Remove and replace existing DX/ Hot Water Air Handlers and Replace with "Direct Replacement" DX / Hot Water Handlers on existing curbs. Remove and replace existing Heating Hot Water Pumps, variable speed drives as noted on plans. Remove and replace existing atmospheric boiler with new power vented condensing boiler. New BACnet Communicating DDC Controls System front end, Balancing, Commissioning, and Accessories. Remove and replace all related electrical power and control wiring, disconnects, and accessories. Demo and patch roof, wall and other construction assemblies as required to provide new or removed penetrations of construction. Provide saw cutting, core drilling, grouting, caulking etc. as required for a complete installation and patch back of surfaces to match existing. Include painting of same color and sheen of all materials patched. Comprehensive test and commissioning of all controls, comprehensive air balance in coordination with test and commissioning procedures as required to verify sequence of operation. Include all labor and equipment to reach all areas requiring access for completion of testing and balancing etc. Anchorage and Bracing of all components per California Building Codes, 2019. Work shall be completed within one hundred forty (140) Working Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to contact the County of Kern, Construction Services Division, 661-868-3000 to verify that all addenda has been received. Addenda will only be available from Blueprint Services Co. Bid Proposals that do not contain a signed cover sheet for all addenda may, in the sole discretion of the County be rejected as non-responsive.
