Renovation of a parking garage in West Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 16,500-square-foot parking garage.

The project includes, but is not limited to, the following items: Installation of approximately 6,500 SF (Wall Surface) and 10,000 SF (Roof Surface) of closed cell spray foam insulation with an intumescent top coating at the interior perimeter of the walls and roof surface areas of an existing prefabricated and uninsulated metal garage building. project consists of installing a new insulation system to an existing public works garage. building components and systems modified or replaced as part of the work of this project have been brought up to meet the requirements of the applicable current codes. The City of West Chicago is seeking bids to alter an existing Public Works garage located at 135 West Grand Lake Blvd., West Chicago, Illinois, 60185. General questions regarding this Invitation to Bid shall be directed to Dave Shah, P.E., Assistant Director of Public Works, at 630-293-2255 or dshah@westchicago.org. All technical questions regarding the project shall be directed in writing to Lauren Ruhl, Project Services Coordinator, at Kluber, Inc., at lruhl@kluberinc.com. All questions shall be submitted in writing by 12:00 PM on January 16, 2024. All questions will be answered and posted on Quest CDN advertisement by 4:00 p.m. on January 18, 2024. This contract work shall be completed by July 26, 2024.
