Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146 CSN Henderson Campus: 700 College Dr., Henderson, NV 89002 CSN North Las Vegas Campus: 3200 East Cheyenne Ave., North Las Vegas, NV 89030 Nevada State University: 1300 Nevada State Drive, Henderson NV 89002 The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) and Nevada State University (NSU) are seeking bids from experienced and qualified companies to provide fixed route shuttle services for the routes identified in Exhibit A attached hereto (the "Services"). The Successful Contractor will be responsible for providing and maintaining vehicles to service the routes, managing the Service at the required intervals, dates, and times, providing trained staff, creating detailed reports, and other requirements as listed in the Scope of Work. To address transportation challenges for its students, CSN and NSU have established a shuttle service program named the Campus Commuter Shuttle Program (the "Program"). The Program was halted in March 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, but the Colleges are now prepared to reintroduce the Program for a one year pilot (or evaluation period) to determine future viability and impact. For the upcoming Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 academic semesters, data accumulated from the pilot Program will be utilized to determine the impact of providing shuttle services on student success and retention, and will also provide an opportunity for the Colleges to determine the resources required to sustain a shuttle program beyond the pilot period. Integral to achieving the goals of the Program is reliable data that will be used to assess the Program's success, identify areas for improvement, and whether the Program addresses transportation barriers for participating students.
