Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Saint-Lambert, Quebec. Design plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; swimming pool; for site work for a swimming pool; playground / park / athletic field; and for the construction of a 1,650-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Upgrades and improvements to the facilities of Alexandra park of the City. The scope of the project includes demolition of the existing swimming pool, paddling pool and chalet to make way for their reconstruction according to the standards and best practices in effect by ensuring, among other things, universal accessibility, more energy-efficient operations and maintenance. The reconstructed complex will feature a 25 m two-lane open-air swimming pool and a paddling pool with water games and a chalet housing a filtration room, a first aid room, a lifeguard room, mixed washrooms, a concierge room, common areas, and an office. TIMELINE: The projet budget was increased by a $2.7 million grant form the provincial fund of Financial Assistance Program for Recreational, Sports and Outdoor Infrastructure. The owner has redefined and increased the project scope. Preliminary planning is underway. Working drawings are expected to begin in late summer/early fall 2024. Tender for the general contractor is slated for late 2024/early 2025.
