Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Norwalk, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City is requesting bids to install a concrete pad and two (2) adjacent walkways connecting the pad to the existing sidewalk and playground. Concrete pad will be approximately 40x50 in size, 5 thick with #4 rebar. Walkways will be 4 in width, with an approximate total length of 60, 4 thick. Walkways must meet ADA compliance for slope. Contractor will be responsible for complete demo of grass area, forming and pouring of pad and walkways, cleanup and final inspection. Light broom finish to match existing walkways is requested. City staff will be constructing a pergola once work is completed, and the City may wish to add post braces to the corners of the pad during the project. Confirmation will be provided to awarded vendor. Budget estimate for the work is $30,000. Note: Pouring of concrete to take place during morning hours only, allowing initial cure time throughout the day. No concrete pouring work is to be completed during afternoon hours.
