Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Rail Road Flat, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,004-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.
The County of Calaveras is seeking sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, tax, bonds, insurance, permits, premiums, shipping, transportation, services, disposal, equipment, and materials for the kitchen replacement at the Rail Road Flat Community Center. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Bid Information and Documents contained herein and with the laws, regulations, and policies of the County of Calaveras and the State of California, and all other applicable regulations. QUESTIONS: Questions will be accepted in writing only via publicpurchase.com, until 3:00 PM, NOVEMBER 3, 2023. Answers to questions deemed relevant and appropriate will be posted to publicpurchase.com on or about NOVEMBER 6, 2023 LOCATION/DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The project is located 298 Rail Road Flat Road, Rail Road Flat, CA 95248. The work to be done as shown on the Plans, generally consist of, but is not limited to: The furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary for: Demo o Remove partition walls as highlighted on sheet A-2, taking care not to damage the ceiling around the existing walls. o Removal of doors and frames per sheet A-2 o Remove (E) drinking fountain low side only, cap off supply to low side only, which is currently a water bottle filler. o Remove (E) sink and set aside for install later. o Remove (E) bathroom stalls and doors, within the Male bathroom, set aside for re install later o Remove (E) urinal, set aside for re-install later o Remove (E) kitchen sink and plumbing as highlighted on sheer A-2 o Remove (E) water closet, within Female Bathroom, set aside for re install later. o Remove (E) wall in fridge, work to be completed by IC or a Qualified engineer. o Remove wall tile withing bathrooms, make good walls ready for install of new FRP. o Refer to Demo notes on sheer A-2 o Remove (E) dishwasher and hood, make good walls and ceiling following removal. o Remove (E) toilets, set aside for install later. o Remove (E) grab bars, paper towel holders, and soap dispensers. o Remove all sheet vinyl flooring within the kitchen area, 1, Food Prep area 2 and wash area 8. o Remove floor tile within both bathrooms, make good sub floor for new installation. Construction o Install (N) partitions per sheet A-1, Metal stud w 5/8" GYP. BD. Walls are level 3 drywall finish to match, primed and painted, color tba with client. o New RFP wall protection to Bathroom 12 & 13, and around the mop sink in Janitor room 7. o Relocate (E) toilet partitions in both bathrooms o Re install (E) toilets in both bathrooms o Re-install (E) urinal in bathroom 13, with urinal partition o Install (N) paper towel holder, soap dispensers and mirrors, in both bathroom 12 & 13. o Install (N) 3 compartment sink in Wash Area 8, connect all plumbing o Install (N) Floor sink in Wash area 8 and Food prep, under sinks with 1" air gap. o Install (N) grease trap within the Wash Area 8, under sink in the best location available. o Install sheet vinyl flooring within the kitchen area, 1, Food Prep area 2 and wash area 8, color tba with client, including coved base. o Install (N) sheet vinyl in both bathrooms, with coved base, color and pattern TBA with client. o Install (N) fire suppression system, install to be completed by IC (see quotation) or equivalent engineer. o Supply and install single use hand towels and pump soap dispensers to (E) sinks in kitchen area. Furniture & Equipment o Supply and install new lockers and bench in staff room 4. o Supply and install new fridge and freezer to the kitchen area, confirm with client, size and type prior to ordering, fridge must be NSF, ETL or ANSI approved.
