Renovation of a mixed-use development in San Francisco, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a 32,000-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.
The National Park Service (NPS), Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA), located north of San Francisco, California, has a requirement for the replacement of 32,000 square feet of roofing on nine NPS housing units. The Contractor shall provide all mobilization, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, site rehabilitation, clean-up, and demobilization. The scope of this proposed contract includes, but is not limited to: - Set up containment around the building and perform hazardous material testing. - Removal of existing tar and gravel roofing; removal and disposal of not in use Dish and Direct TV branded satellite dishes, removal and reinstallation of white Clear dish brand satellite dish - Replacement of any damaged wood decking - Removal and reinstallation of underlayment damaged from a tree fall at building 815 - Replacement of roof flashing, including drip edge, pipe vent collars, and downspout; sweeping of existing roof - Installation of new spray polyurethane foam roof system 30lbs per 100sf - Installation of silicon cap sheet coating at 3 gallons per 100 sf with 400lbs per 100sf embedded pea gravel - Installation of new galvanized aluminum downspouts. Contractor must match new roofing and components with existing roof and adjacent structures_ roofs. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business (SB) concerns only. Offers received from concerns that are not Small Business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160; the small business size standard is $19.0 million. The construction magnitude for this solicitation is $500,000 to $1,000,000.00. The Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed-price contract. Award selection will be made on a Best Value determination made after consideration of price and other non-price factors (technical capability and past performance) as listed in the RFP. The RFP will be available via electronic commerce only and may be accessed on or about July 14, 2023, at SAM.gov: https://sam.gov/. The due date for proposals will be 30 days after the date of issuance of the RFP. However, this may be extended at the discretion of the Government. Prospective offerors are responsible for periodically checking these websites for any amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFP. An organized site visit will be scheduled. While not mandatory, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. See Section L of the RFP (when issued) for more information regarding the date, time, and location of the site visit. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT: Offerors shall be required to have a SAM unique entity identifier number and an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. Offerors will be required to complete online Representations and Certifications at the SAM website. A contract award may or may not result from this solicitation, and all costs associated with preparing proposals are at the contractor_s own expense.
