The Kanawha County Schools Purchasing Department is soliciting bids to establish an open-end contract for the Child Nutrition Department to provide Commercial Food Equipment and Related Services. Deadline to submit Questions Jul 11th 2023, 4:00 PM EDT BID BOND: All Vendors shall furnish a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid protecting the County. The bid bond must be submitted with the bid. See Exhibit B. PERFORMANCE BOND: The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract value. The performance bond must be issued and received by the Purchasing Department prior to Contract award. On construction contracts, the performance bond must be 100% of the Contract value. See Exhibit C. LABOR/MATERIAL PAYMENT BOND: The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a labor/material payment bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract value. The labor/material payment bond must be issued and delivered to the Purchasing Department prior to Contract award.
