Site work and paving for a civil project in Amboy, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.

This is a sources sought notice for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS) for the construction road reconstruction activities including excavation and backfill, ditch reconditioning, clearing and grubbing, removal of existing asphalt, asphalt deep patch repair with geogrid layers, asphalt paving, underdrain pipe installation, guardrail replacement and removing/resetting existing guardrail and terminals, and the fabrication and installation of a soil nail retaining wall to address bridge abutment repair needs on National Forests, located in Washington state. The project is located on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, on Forest Road 9000000 MP 4.0. Located in Skamania County, Washington. Information about the district and location of the site can be obtained at the Mt St Helens Volcanic National Monument located at 42218 NE Yale Bridge Road, Amboy, WA 98601. As part of market research, the FS is issuing this sources sought notice to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the services as described in the attached draft SOW, drawings, specifications, and other attachments. The Government may use the responses to this sources sought notice for information and planning purposes. The draft documents describe only the currently contemplated possible scope of the requirement and may vary from the final Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated period of performance is on or about August 15, 2023 to not later than 120 calendar days after contract award. Also provided, are the following attachments that will help determine the acquisition strategy based on the quality of answers provided to the questionnaire, relevancy of any capability statements provided, and the applicability of the responses to the requirements described herein and posted with this notice. We are also extremely interested in hearing any concerns or questions about the draft attachments.
