St. Johns County is soliciting quotes from qualified Suppliers to provide all materials, labor, equipment, supervision and all other applicable requirements for the removal of sand, grit, and rags from the Marsh Landing Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 166 Marsh Cove Drive, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082, St. Johns County, FL. Work includes but is not limited to: 1. Mobilization and demobilization to the jobsite with equipment and material 2. Removal of debris from the Aeration Basin and Digester (Internal Clarifier not to be cleaned) 3. Transportation and disposal of debris from the site with proper disposal and manifests 4. Clean area once work is complete 5. Work to be done while facility is in service If Supplier fails to complete the Work within the Contract Time provided in the award documents, then the County shall withhold from any amounts otherwise due Supplier or to be paid as a debt due the sum of Eight Hundred dollars and zero cents ($800.00) per day for each and every calendar day of unexcused delay as "Liquidated Damages". Contractor shall commence the Work within ten (10) calendar days following receipt of the County's Notice to Proceed and shall complete all Work within One Hundred Eighty (180) consecutive calendar days The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Quotes, waive minor formalities or irregularities, obtain clarifying information from any responding Supplier, and to award the Quote that best serves the interests of St. Johns County.
