The work generally consists of the replacement of approximately 1,400 linear feet (LF) of 20-inch sewage force mains, including aerial crossings and connections to existing structures in Martinez, CA. The force mains are within District easements on Union Pacific Railroad's Right of Way, Waterfront Park (City of Martinez), and Martinez Refining Company's (PBF Energy) property. The District reserves the right to refuse to accept work for the project where a special warranty, certification, or similar commitment is required on such work or part of the work, until evidence is presented that entities required to countersign such commitments are willing to do so.
