Description

Site work for a civil project in Martinez, California. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work to be done generally consists of raising the western levees of Grayson Creek and Walnut Creek along the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (CCCSD) treatment plant. The project limits along Grayson Creek are from the State Route 4 bridge to the Walnut Creek confluence. The project limits along Walnut Creek are from the Grayson Creek confluence to the BNSF Railroad bridge. Work consists of placing and compacting additional 3 to 4 feet of fill on top of the levees, constructing levee flood walls on either side of Imhoff Drive, constructing levee access ramps, and reconstructing a gravel road. Other work includes utility relocation, railroad track removal, maintenance road construction, fence relocation, and vegetation removal. Funding Source: CCCSD funds, Flood Control Zone 3B funds Working Days: 75 Construction Date: Summer 2022 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
