Reference Number 0000324286 Provide ongoing as needed technical assistance and expertise on solid waste, recycling, and organics implementation with SB 1383 and other solid waste regulated mandatory programs, services, ordinances, reports, and enforcement requirements, as outlined in Attachment A. Provide as needed contract management and oversight of the current Franchise Agreement during the remainder of the contract term, ending December 31, 2023 Notice to Proceed Late September 2023 Any questions pertaining to the RFP must be submitted by 5pm Thursday, July 13, 2023 to Rosemarie Chora, via email at oceansiderecycles@oceansideca.org. Telephone or verbal inquiries will not receive a response. No questions will be accepted after the deadline. The City of Oceanside reserves the right to: A. Select any proposal as a basis for written or oral communication with any or all of the companies or individuals when such action is considered to be in the best interest of the City of Oceanside. B. Exercise discretion and apply its judgement with respect to selection of any proposals submitted. C. Reject all proposals. Insurance Requirements : Consultant must, at its expense, submit a City of Oceanside Vendor Application Packet with appropriate insurance certificates, not subject to waiver. Certificates shall be maintained for the duration of the Agreement. Consultant shall also require all of its subcontractors assigned to the project to procure and maintain the same insurance requirement for the duration of the Agreement. Such insurance shall meet at least the minimum levels of coverage outlined in the Professional Services Agreement and Vendor Packet. The Consultant shall obtain and pay for all licenses necessitated by his operations. Prior to starting any work, the Consultant is required to have a City of Oceanside Business License valid for the life of the contract.
