The Cobb County Department of Transportation (CCDOT) is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firm(s) to provide Engineering Design Consultant Services for the above referenced project. The project consists of funding by Federal and local sources. Accordingly, the successful firm will be required to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and County rules and regulations. All engineering services shall be in accordance with all applicable guidelines of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, GDOT Standard Specifications for the Construction of Transportation Systems, Project Schedules, Plan Development Review Process, and Plan Presentation Guidelines, CCDOT Pre-Construction Process and Procedures Manual, and all other applicable CCDOT guidelines. All project deliverables must be submitted to CCDOT for review and approval. CCDOT will coordinate all submittals to the GDOT. The Submittal must follow the format and meet the content requirements identified in Section VI, entitled Instructions for Content and Preparation of Statements of Qualifications - Phase I Response. CCDOT has adopted a 15% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal assigned to this scope of services. This goal is not to be considered as a fixed quota, set aside or preference. The DBE goal can be met by prime contracting, subcontracting, joint-venture or mentor/ protégé relationship. CCDOT anticipates one (1) Multi-Phase, Project Specific contract to be awarded to one (1) firm. CCDOT anticipates that the Contract Type may be Lump Sum, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost per Unit of Work or Specific Rate of Compensation. As a Project Specific contract, it is CCDOTs intention that the Agreement will remain in effect until construction completion. The deadlines for submission of questions relating to the RFQ are the times and dates shown in the (Schedule of Events- Section III). From the issue date of this solicitation until a successful proposer is selected and the award is made official and announced, respondents are subject to the Restriction of Communication Any Questions Must Be Received No Later Than Friday, July 21, 2023 by 12:00 P.m.
