The work shall include, but is not limited to, all items as shown on the Drawings and as specified in Contract Documents, including the following: all submittals; mobilization; demolition; construction; all required project management; site security and safety; traffic control; permitting (including permitting costs); all labor, tools, equipment and conveying of materials necessary to perform the work; all winter and other weather protection; all utility work, including permits and coordination with the various City entities; and providing a complete and comprehensive scope of work as outlined in this RFP. This is a single source RFP where the successful proposer will be responsible for all aspects of the associated work, all other appurtenant work and the cleanup necessary for Project completion The City reserves the right to award in part, to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part for misrepresentation or if the proposer is in default of any prior City contract, or if the proposal limits or modifies any of the terms and conditions and/or specifications of the RFP. The City also reserves the right to waive technical defects, irregularities and omissions if, in its judgment, the best interest of the City will be served Each Proposal shall be submitted accompanied by a Proposal Security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Total Proposal Price. Performance/Payment Bonds The successful proposer must furnish to the City, if its contract has a total cost greater than $50,000.00, a 100 percent Performance Bond with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City.
