CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 7/20/2023 4:00 PM The Project includes the following Work: The Work is generally described as follows: rails-to-trails conversion of old railroad bed to shared use trail; the project generally consists of construction of approximately 23,160 LF of new 10' wide stone dust trail, clearing and grubbing of 20' wide trail construction/ pedestrian unloading area, 4,300 LF of drainage channel construction, over 500' of culvert pipe installation with delineation stakes, 11 driveway crossings, 38 traffic control gates, 38 stop signs, placement of 2 concrete barriers, 1 yard drainage system, and 1 snowmobile crossing. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%, made out to Crawford County, as a guarantee that the bidder will furnish proper bonds satisfactory to the County, and enter into a contract to do the said work.
