Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gary, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Street resurfacing and improvement. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid payable to the Clerk/Treasurer, of the City of Gary as security for execution of the contract under the terms embodied in the Contract Documents. The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price before commencing work. The Performance Bond and the Payment Bond shall remain in effect throughout the entire construction period. The City of Gary reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any bid which is incomplete, obscure, conditional, not on the prescribed form, has erasures or corrections in prices, includes additions or deductions not called for or is not accompanied by the required bid security and supporting documents and information may be rejected. However, the City of Gary reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects on the basis of the citys best interests.
