Contractor will provide to the Department of Water Resources (DWR) hydrogeological exploration drilling and well construction services.The services will be performed at various locations in the counties of Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Kern (south of the Tehachapi Mountains), San Bernardino, Inyo, Riverside, Orange, San Diego, and Imperial, California. The Contractor must have an office/warehouse in the State of California with full-time employees and drilling equipment . The anticipated term of this agreement is one year with four (4) one-year options under the same terms and conditions. The length of this contract shall not exceed a total of five (5) years including the original contract and the four optional renewals. In submitting your bid, you must comply with these instructions. This solicitation also contains DVBE Incentive language within Attachment V. The DVBE Incentive offers bidders an incentive calculation when they include DVBE subcontractors in their bid efforts. Application of the Incentive may place the bidder in line for bid award. Minimum incentive applied will be three (3) percent, not to exceed five (5) percent. Please note that the bid opening via TEAMS will be visual only with no opportunity for questions and answers. Anticipated start date of agreement is September 2023 Technical questions must be submitted in writing to Elizabeth.medeiros@water.ca.gov and received by the State on or before Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 3:00pm. The States representatives will provide answers in writing to all potential bidders by Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 12:00pm.
