Renovation of a residential development in Clarion, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

As of As of August 23, 2023 Project will rebid Bid opening will be on September 1st at 1:00 o'clock. ------------------------------------------- The Clarion County Housing Authority identified a project to renovate an existing building located at 22 South 2nd Avenue in Clarion. The work includes the complete renovation of the existing building, creating two new apartments on the second floor, and a new accessible apartment as Phase 1; the community room, office space, and garage space on the first floor will be completed as Phase 2 and is not part of this scope of work. No site-work is included as part of this project. Bids will be received for General, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Construction. Additional full sets may be purchased by a check in the same amount, or portions of sets may be purchased at a cost of $3.00 per drawing sheet and $0.25 per specification sheet. Price of the plans is non-refundable. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashiers check payable to the Clarion County Housing Authority in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. The Clarion County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening without the consent of the Authority. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or age . In addition, the Contract will be under the requirements of New Rule-CFP Part 75 relative to new goals and timetables and Section III of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and where applicable. The Clarion County Housing Authority solicits and encourages Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation. MBEs will be afforded full consideration of their responses and will not be subjected to discrimination. Bidders will be required to comply with the Authoritys MBE Program Goal requirements where applicable.
