Question Deadline 06/06/2025 The Orange County Sanitation District (OC SAN) requests proposals for Project No. J-137, Ocean Outfalls Rehabilitation. This Project will rehabilitate both the 120-inch Long Outfall and the 78-inch Short Outfall. Rehabilitation of the Long Outfall includes removing debris blocking diffusers access ports, replacing hold-down hardware on inspection hatches, adding ballast rock in certain areas, replacing existing manhole covers, removing internal outfall sediment deposits, and replacing the flap gate. Before the Long Outfall can be rehabilitated, the 78-inch Short Outfall must first be rehabilitated and placed into service. This will allow flows to be diverted from the Long Outfall to the Short Outfall while the Long Outfall is out of service. Rehabilitation of the Short Outfall will also include cleaning of the circular diffuser ports, removal of internal outfall sediment deposits, potential closure of the rectangular ports, and performing a detailed inspection Any questions regarding the RFP are to be sent via e-mail to professionalservices@ocsan.gov to the attention of Wai Chan, Senior Contracts Administrator.
