The City of Seattle (City) solicits bids from interested and qualified vendors to provide welding and steel fabrication services. The City has had successful contracts for welding and fabrication services; however, these contracts will expire. Therefore, the City is returning for a competitive solicitation to establish new contracts. Currently the annual contract expenditure is approximately $60,000 and divided among two Vendors. This Contract will be for use by all City Departments, but the primary user is Seattle Public Utilities (SPU). General requirements for this contract will be for the vendor to provide routine field welding, fabrication services, routine repairs and installation, routine application of coatings to field welds, the ability for SPU Field Operations to contact the service provider 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Field Operations will also require a 4-hour response time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Question Deadline 07/27/2023 at 3:00 PM PT Online Portal
