Site work and paving for a civil project in Ellington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: The project consists of providing approximately 480 linear feet of 8-inch SDR35 PVC gravity sewer, sanitary sewer manholes, approximately 55 linear feet of 6-inch SDR35 PVC service connection piping, and connection to an existing gravity manhole on Stein Road. Furthermore, the project includes removing and resetting or replacing existing site improvements, restoring disturbed areas to existing conditions or better, and replacing bituminous concrete on Town Roads. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after opening of bid without approval and written consent of the Town of Ellington WPCA. Bid Award on or before March 27, 2024 Each bidder must submit a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Total amount Bid with either a corporate surety from a company licensed to write surety bonds in the State of Connecticut or by bidder's certified check made payable to the Town of Ellington The Town of Ellington WPCA reserves the right to amend or terminate this Invitation to Bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, omissions, excess verbiage or technical defects in the bidding and the Town need not necessarily award the contract to the lowest Bidder if, in the opinion of the Town, it would be in the best interest of the Town of Ellington WPCA to accept another bid.
