Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Puyallup, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of February 29, 2024, an engineer has been selected for the project. Funding has not been identified as of yet. No timeline for construction has been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Puyallup seeks to complete the "missing link" in the Riverwalk Trail System between Veterans Memorial Park and the State Route 512 overpass. Once constructed, the Riverwalk Trail will provide a nearly 8-mile non-motorized pathway to a variety of city-wide and regional destinations. To date, the city has completed a preliminary plan and survey for the future trail alignment that was utilized to complete three early acquisitions in 2019. The city is currently working with WSDOT Local Programs for certifying these early acquisitions. Funding has now been secured to proceed with final design to complete the plans, specifications and estimate necessary to construct this project. The city reserves the right to award other applicable phases of the project to the selected consultant.
